There was a little girl who said he was handsome and Rachael got mad because she thought he was more than just handsome
I had to go to the principal’s office the other morning. When I got into the office, my daughter was resting on the bench waiting for me. I asked her what she did and she whispered she couldn’t talk when she was being punished. I had to smile because our 5 year old was actually listening. I sat down next to her and waited for someone to send me into the principal’s office… Rachael wriggled a bit because it was a little overheated in there and she had a coat on. I told her she could take off her coat although she easily ignored me. I gently eased the coat off her and she was still quiet. I was thinking that perhaps she was enjoying resting there with the warmth of the air vent, although she wasn’t noticing anything but the secretary. I told her that it was snowing outside and she didn’t even flinch. I then asked her if she wanted me to turn on the air conditioning device and she still didn’t move an inch. I sat there for a little while longer and the secretary called me over. The male secretary told me that my daughter had been fighting on the playground. I asked if she was in a great deal of trouble and he told me the confrontation was about him. There was a little girl who said he was handsome and Rachael got mad because she thought he was more than just handsome. He told me he was flattered, although she couldn’t have confrontations like that. I said something to Rachael and she told me that she thought he was handsome although she liked the heating in the office better than in her classroom.
