One of the hardest things about surviving your four years on a college campus is finding a decent place to study.
When considering all of the distractions that come with living around hundreds of young people it is harder than you can imagine to find a spot on campus where you can hear yourself think.
Back when I was in high school I was in a school with less than 500 students in total and finding a quiet place to study was the least of my worries. Times change fast as a teenager however, and now it seems impossible. Most of my friends tend to think that the local coffee shops on campus are good places to study, but in my opinion those places are just excuses to hang out and drink coffee with friends while being able to enjoy the free air conditioning for as long as possible. I know I made fun of the other kids for using the coffee shop for the free a/c, but at least I am getting work done over here. I have found that the best place to study is at the library. This might seem like a silly thing to say, but kids around here don’t use the campus library! I love the library for two main reasons, the free air conditioning that is available 24/7, and the silence. Ever since I have started going here to study and work on all of my projects I have seen a huge increase in my productivity and my grades as well. As long as there is a state of the art air conditioning and no crowds of college kids talking loudly and spilling coffee on the ground, I just might move here!
