It's never too late to learn

Ever since I retired I have been doing my best to learn something new every day. It doesn’t really matter what the specific task is or how complicated that it might seem, I simply do my best and try to learn the basics. At the end of the day if I find myself interested in the task, I will continue working on it the next day. If not, I simply find something else to try out. One thing that I have picked up as of late is HVAC repair. I have two sons who work at the HVAC ventilation, heating and cooling company in town and they have been loving their job. I have never been the type of person who can fix things on their own and problem solve on mechanical objects, so I decided to give it a shot for the first time. One day during the weekend I had my sons come over to visit and teach me how to fix my heating and cooling unit that had been giving me some problems for the past few weeks. The process of diagnosing and being able to repair a standard heating and cooling unit like mine was much harder and took longer than I would have ever imagined, but I loved the process of learning from to two sons! I was able to get the heating and cooling unit to start working thanks to the help of my boys and my home is feeling much more comfortable. Take my advice and never stop trying to improve even when you are and old person like me!
