HVAC inside of our semi-truck

My name is Waymore. I fly a long haul rig over the cement rivers of our country. That absolutely sounds a little overly dramatic, and it is, but what can I say. I have the soul of a poet and the body of a trucker. I named our rig Waymore’s Blues, after the old song. I spend about fifty weeks a year inside the cab of our truck, so it’s more of an apartment than any apartment has ever been. It’s for that reason that I treat our rig with such pride, it’s the way I make a living and where I live! For the type of routes I run, having the best quality Heating, Ventilation, and A/C plan in the truck is an absolute essential. I cross the sand flats of the desert fairly consistently, and with temps over 110 degrees, A/C is a matter of life and death. A few times a year I also make the ice road runs up in AK, so the rig has to have a spot-on furnace or I could get frostbite just from the steering wheel. But aside from that, I just need dependable heating and cooling because I simply don’t have time that often to take it to the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C service center. I make time to go in for an Heating, Ventilation, and A/C tune up once a year, and so far that has been all the attention our A/C equipment has needed. I am absolutely due for a heating and cooling inspection this month, but with all the routes I’m on, it may have to be delayed.
