I will say, I am a awful roommate. I never want to do dishes, I leave them in the kitchen until they get all crusted. I also blast songs all afternoon long, everyday. I never ask if anyone else has any musical preferences. I also am awful about using a/c! For beginners, I definitely don’t like AC. I don’t like the feel, the stench & the method of it. So if our roommates ever switch on the A/C unit, I usually turn it off when they go in the next area over. I don’t want any cooling ever. Even in the Summer I don’t see the need for a/c. Occasionally our roommates gang up on myself and others & insist on AC. Then what I do is crack a window open while the cooling system is on. This is a bad thing to do for your A/C system, I suppose it but I still do it. It makes the cooling system work harder to get to the temperature control setting. It is impossible for the A/C system to achieve its set goal on the thermostat due to all the tepid air coming in. If the cooling system continues to work at that hard pace consistently it could bust apart or need a immense A/C repair. Even knowing all of this, I just can’t help myself. I open the window and door if I get too cold, and at least I am comfortable. And if the cooling system dies, that definitely would benefit myself and others the most. Then there would be no system for the cooling system to turn on while I am home.
