I was having a lot of trouble falling asleep the other night. I kept on tossing and turning as I lay in my bed. I had no idea what was wrong. I even tried taking some sleeping medication, but nothing seemed to help. Finally, I got up to make myself a little midnight snack. After I got up, I realized it was super hot! I wandered over to my thermostat, and attempted to turn the furnace down a little. That was probably why I couldn’t sleep. I have a lot of trouble sleeping when my heating and cooling system is not set just right. I like to have my heating and cooling system set to a pretty exact temperature. If it’s hot outside, I like to have my air conditioner set to a nice and cool 68 degrees. If it is cold outside, I like to have my furnace set to a nice and warm 74 degrees. Any temperature variance, even if it is only a degree or two,, will make it close to impossible for me to sleep. I don’t know why, but I have a tremendously hard time sleeping is the furnace is too high, or f the air conditioner is too high, I waited for about 5 minutes, but the furnace showed no one sign of reducing its output of excessive heat. I didn’t know what I could do! It was bow 3 in the morning and there was no way I could get a heating and cooling system repairman out to my home at this time. I would sadly have to wait until the morning t get my HVAC system fixed.
