We’re too hot

My boyfriend as well as I typically disagree about the air conditioner unit in our apartment.  Every one of us moved in together numerous months ago as well as everything else has been an easy adjustment.  Every one of us picked out all of our living room furniture together, painted the apartment, as well as developed a routine for our new life together.  Every one of us love being together; it has been a welcome change since all of us were leaving in unusual areas of the state for several years. Maintaining a long distance relationship is the hardest thing to accomplish, so living together was enjoyable beyond belief.  The only section of living together that has been challenging is agreeing on the air conditioner settings. At night, our boyfriend wakes up covered in sweat. He overheats entirely too easily, so he prefers to keep the air conditioner on at all times, day and night. He does this even when it’s not tepid outside.  I can’t deal with this for several different reasons, however first, it is a major waste of electricity as well as money. It causes our bi-weekly utility bills to double. Second, I am constantly icy at night. It doesn’t help that I get freezing entirely quickly. Every one of us can’t seem to come up with a logical answer.  Some afternoons, he has slept on the couch, in the study so that he could turn on the air conditioner in the living as well as I could stay warm in the bedroom. This is not a solution to our troubles. Hopefully, all of us can come up with a current solution that will allow us to be together without him dripping with sweat from overheating.  I should try wearing heavier socks to sleep; maybe this will allow myself and others to be more comfortable, then in our next apartment, though, all of us will be looking for a more efficient, cost friendly update for our cooling system. Then, all of us won’t be wasting an excessive amount of money on utility bills.
