I am not glad with the gas furnace that I have installed in our cabin. The furnace was already in its current location when I purchased the cabin more than nine years ago. I am suspicious that the heating program is nearly 40 years old plus it’s not in a decent condition. Whenever the furnace does start up, it makes an unpleasant screeching sound. It then spews a ton of debris into the air, plus spreads the stink of burnt lint. I suffer from a lot of headaches throughout the winter season weather, where I totally blame the furnace. Because my wife and I deal with super cold temperatures for about 10 weeks per year, the furnace is overly essential. It seems to run all of the time, though the cabin is often cold. There are drafts, cold spots, plus the temperature is downright hot up by the ceiling. If we were all willing to prop up on a ladder, we could be nice and toasty. With our feet planted on the icey cold floors, we are thus forced to bundle up in thick socks plus heavy jackets. The furnace is costing my family and I a fortune every month in excessive energy bills. I am convinced that this is wasting a ton energy as it is not all that efficient. I should easily invest in a whole new, current, plus more energy efficient furnace. I’ve looked into the heating units on the market where they all offer various innovative features. There are newer furnaces which meet 98% AFUE, deliver zone control, effectively filter the contaminants in the air, plus connect to smart control units. Although I think it would significantly trim our daily expenses to update our furnace, I can’t afford the purchase plus replacement price. I’d need to take out a loan plus make expensive payments, and I am absolutely reluctant to do this. At this point, I’m trying to save up enough funds to pay for the current furnace all at once.
