the concerns with the a/c equipment

My best friend is a food inspector as a career. She checks restaurants, and sites like that, to make sure that they are keeping up with food safety laws! Needless to say, she is super particular about what restaurants she will and will not eat inside of. There are hundreds of things she looks for when all of us try something new, then obviously, she can’t go and inspect the kitchen however there are certain yellow flags. The two of us were trying out this up-to-date restaurant that had very excellent reviews. The moment all of us walked through the door I knew something was bothering her however, but I noticed that the air was a little warm in there however nothing else unusual, then when it came time to order she said “let’s go” and got up and strolled on out. I had to laugh, this was so like her, although I still didn’t know what the problem was. She explained to me that a restaurant that doesn’t have good and properly working a/c certainly doesn’t have good refrigeration either. They have their industrial coolers and HVAC units maintained by the same companies because they task the same. If they are lax about fixing the air conditioning then they may be lax about fixing the refrigerators and other things too. I tried to argue that perhaps an HVAC serviceman was on the way at this moment and the problem may have just happened but she wouldn’t hear any of it. That is ok, I didn’t certainly want to walk back in after all of us had strolled out so angry anyway. I must say though, I’ve never gotten sick when eating with my good friend. I guess she knows what she is talking about.
