Where I grew up, there were no Springtime, Fall and Winter season seasons. It was Summer and warm all year round. So you could imagine the hard time I had when I moved up north, where every season is clearly defined and the weather changes all year round. I was renting a 1 kitchen home that had a window A/C unit. I had never seen 1 of those before, because our parents apartment had a Heating, Ventilation, and A/C idea installed through the whole apartment and it stayed at 1 temperature almost all year, 81 degrees. I had to abruptly figure out how it worked. When it was warm outside, I had to put cool air on and when it was cold, I put on warm air. It took me a while to get used to the changes in temperature outside. I had to incorporate a new wardrobe because all of our clothing was summertime clothes. I had to buy coats, scarves, boots, the whole multiple yards. I l acquired that our electricity bill was a lot cheaper with the A/C window device as opposed to the whole Heating, Ventilation, and A/C idea installed in our parents home. Overall, the change to a new state, a new weather conditions, a new apartment was just that; a change. It took some time to get used to, but now a year and half later, I’ve gotten used to it and I legitimately like it. The seasons are wonderful. I can explore new fashion options. The window device is not so bad, other than the fact that it can be super loud at times. Some change can be really good!
