The other week was absolutely difficult for us. All of us had been experiencing a heatwave for a few days, and our indoor climate control plan was now working into overtime keeping the beach house cool and comfortable for us. There were signs that it was starting to fail, though – we tried to keep the beach house at seventy-two degrees, however the temperature control was showing eight-two and kept going higher! All of us called the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C supplier to have a Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C specialist over for performing service on the A/C system. They said we needed to make the decision to go with emergency Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C repair, or both of us would have to wait a few weeks for repairs to be made! I thought that was absolutely ridiculous, but we didn’t have a choice. Of course, both of us couldn’t deal with the heat, so we agreed to the emergency repairs. Even though it was by all rights an emergency, the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C repair technician took his sweet time to get to our place! I know it was because so many people were getting repairs done too, and it was just impossible to get to us in a rush. When the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C specialist arrived, it was close to 90 degrees inside! All of us had no choice however to keep using our makeshift fans with the windows open in hope for a breeze. The Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C specialist worked promptly to take care of the temperature control system. He had the A/C working in 20 minutes, and that was after he arrived! I was certainly impressed. We both thanked him graciously as he rushed off to the next repair job, and I figured that guy must make a lot of cash taking care of all these emergency tasks in such a hurry – all without sacrificing quality of work!
