Finding a way to set the HVAC

My schedule is seriously hectic.  My hubby and I both labor full-time, demanding jobs.  Both of us have several sons who are all heavily involved in athletic interests.  It seems the people I was with and I are constantly running from 1 obligation to the next, struggling to accomplish everything and there’s never enough time.  Simply trying to keep up with and manage our house is a challenge. My hubby and I recently updated to a house automation system, which saves time and cash, and make our quarterly lives more productive. Both of us no longer spend cash on household appliances left running when the house is empty.  We’re able to adjust the operation of the furnace, a/c, lights and all small appliances from virtually anywhere. I don’t need to remember to adjust the control unit before heading out the door in the morning, and the people I was with and I don’t return house to freezing freezing or overheated house.  Plus, I get alerts if there’s a problem. If the water oil furnace bursts, the gas furnace quits, or the central cooling method requires maintenance, I get a text. The smart control unit will even alert the Heating and A/C business directly. Because I’m taking better care of our essential appliances, there’s less likely to be a malfunction.  I expect the furnace, a/c, sump pump, and even the clothes dryer to run more efficiently, reliably and last longer. By conserving energy, I’ve significantly lowered our daily costs and minimized our family’s carbon footprint. I’m also enjoying greater peace of mind. I used to habitually worry about whether or not I had taken care of everything at house before leaving for the morning.  With so several demands on our time, it’s nice to constantly have access to what’s going on at home, even when I’m not physically there.
