It’s funny the way you’ll remember trivial things, simply because they’re tied to something sentimental. When our fiance and I moved into our first home, the two of us had unknowingly made out love bandits! On top of inheriting many useful furnishings from the previous owners, the house had also just received a full HVAC method renovation! At the time, the new air conditioning was literally brand new. Last month marked ten years of residing in this house, and in that time we’ve brought more than two beautiful children into this world and made this house our home. However, with this second birthday comes a sad realization – it’s time to look for a updatement to the cooling system. Since a/c units are built to last about ten years before becoming obsolete, our fiance and I guess that we’ll have to get rid of this seasoned air conditioning and find a new a/c component to update it. Both of us have our regular HVAC repair workers coming by this month to inspect the unit, and see if they can buy it back as a credit towards our new a/c unit. I believe I’m feeling bittersweet about the whole thing, as I wish I could keep the same model and just switch out the components inside! But, life is about understanding when it’s time to let something go. Besides, we’ll also be getting a brand-new air conditioning component for the house in the process! Both of us both guess that this seasoned air conditioning method isn’t now working and it did ten years ago, anyway.
