Three or four days ago, I bought a small, older beach house down south. I was able to afford a actually nice location, because the house was in a excruciating state of overall disrepair. The former owners had made no improvements over the years. They failed to keep up with necessary repair & left the property vacant for quite a while. I have gradually been fixing the arena up. I’m trying to do the best I can to finish the work myself, & the process is expensive & time-consuming. I’ve managed to replace the roof, paint the exterior & beautify the landscaping. I’ve installed new windows & completely renovated the kitchen and one of the restrooms as well. The master lavatory & living room are still a mess. The carpet in the family room is hideous to look at. One of my biggest complaints is the central cooling system. The outdoor component is gigantic, rusted, dented & just downright ugly, when it starts up, it’s super loud. Even with all of the windows shut, I can hear it in the house. I’m sure my neighbors are irritated by it. Because the undefined still works, I can’t come to terms with spending currency on a new 1. It’s not especially energy efficient, however it supplies a very solid amount of air, and it does not matter how hot & humid it gets outside, my beach house is consistently perfectly cool. I’ve considered building a small fence around the outdoor cooling component to hide it, however I’m starting to get scared to invest currency into a temporary solution. I’d like to take out a beach house improvement loan & install a brand new, much more petite and much quieter central cooling system.
