Air conditioner needs some help

I sleep better at night and experience fewer headaches

When I moved down south, I was prepared for the challenges of the heat, and i knew an efficient and powerful air conditioner would be a requirement, and I expected to run the cooling plan just about all year round. I failed to appreciate, but, the challenges caused by high humidity; When there’s an excess of moisture in the air, lowering the thermostat doesn’t entirely help, then the air conditioner simply works harder and uses up way more energy. I pay higher electric bills and the current home is overly chilly however not comfortable. That sticky feeling doesn’t go away. When I got tired of condensation running down the window panes and mold growing on the sills, I finally called a local Heating, Ventilation & A/C contractor to ask about dehumidifiers. I wanted something that wouldn’t need constant repair. I hoped to avoid emptying a reservoir every day. The Heating, Ventilation & A/C contractor commanded a whole-new home dehumidifier which installed right into the air handler of the air conditioner. The dehumidifier extracts moisture as the air passes through. It operates quietly and requires only annual upkeep, and since investing in the dehumidifier, I’ve been able to raise the temperature setting on the thermostat… My energy bills are significantly lower and yet my current home is far more comfortable. I sleep better at night and experience fewer headaches. I have more energy during the day and don’t need to wash as often; Plus, the smaller workload for the air conditioner should help to avoid malfunctions and extend service life. The dehumidifier has made a big difference in my budget, air quality, comfort and overall enjoyment of my home.
