We consider our local print shop as another employee

Delivering quality service to our customers is key and we have found some very creative ways to do that.

When we started our company three years ago we knew that we would have to rely on other businesses to fill in the gaps where we were unable to.

We quickly realized that creating labels for our many natural products was not only time consuming, it was not very cost effective either. As we make the product and package them ourselves, sitting in front of a computer for hours and fighting with the printer to make professional labels just wasn’t something that we felt we needed to do. We decided to leave this task up to the professionals that new what they were doing. They had the time and resources to produce great labels that were eye catching, professional, and we never had to worry that the quality would not be what we wanted. The fees that we paid for the labels they printed for us were far less than the cost of the professional printing devices that we would have needed too. We think of it as having an employee that works off site. We don’t have to provide benefits for them either. It is a winning relationship for sure. It is smart business to know your limitations and know where to invest your valuable time and money. We recommend that anyone look into using professional services vs. buying expensive equipment whenever it is feasible. In our situation, this was a perfect solution. I don’t think we will ever move label printing to an in house operation.
