When a majority of people stop and really think about FL, they most often think about the theme parks & the beaches.
I’ve lived in FL for a majority of my life, & I can actually say that there are several more fun activities in FL. You really do not have to spend a small fortune on extravagant tourist attractions like theme parks & roller coasters. My family & I really adore some of FL’s natural beauty. My number one thing about the Sunshine State, are absolutely all of the springs in the area. FL is actually home to more fresh water springs than any other place! There are several types of springs that can be found in this beautiful state. These springs includes ink holes, karst windows, & spring boils. These freshwater gems are situated all over the region. My family & I live fairly close to Tampa, FL, & all of us recognizably enjoy visiting Weeki Wachee Springs, Rainbow Springs, & Three Sisters Springs. All of these FL gems offer the option to see all kinds of wildlife like red-eared sliders, American alligators, & river otters. The beautiful state has a good amount of family-friendly activities that cost less than $10 each day. Many of the natural springs are found in the state park system. These natural wonders can be seen for $5 a vehicle load. If you are going to spend a vacation in FL, save a few dollars & skip the terribly long ride lines at Disney. It’s a smart move to pack a cooler, throw on a swimsuit, & take the youngsters out to snorkel in some of the most beautiful waters in the world. You might be shocked to see an alligator gar, & you could get lucky and find some Civil War era artifacts.
