That’s when I went down and checked on the central A/C unit in the basement
I’ve always been the kind of person who likes to fix things himself. Ever since I was a little kid, I wouldn’t let my parents fix the stuff that I tore up. I would want to figure things out and do all the repairs myself. This included things like my remote control cars, my bike, my clock radio and my toys. As I got older, it even included my car. I just wanted to fix stuff myself. Now that I’m an adult, that has bled over into other areas of my life such as doing all of my own home repairs. Last week my central air conditioning unit went on the blink and stopped working. Normally, it wouldn’t have been that big of an issue, but last week we had a major heat wave in our area. The weather started heating up on Monday and then by Wednesday the outside temperatures were in the high nineties! I had the thermostat in the house set at seventy degrees, but for some reason, the A/C wasn’t cooling the house down like it should have. I noticed that the air coming out of the air vents was kind of lukewarm and barely cold and then the air stopped coming out of the A/C vents all together. That’s when I went down and checked on the central A/C unit in the basement. When I opened up the unit to check it out, I saw that some of the interior components were worn out. I ended up watching some videos online and trying to fix the A/C myself, but I think I might’ve ended up making the problem worse!
